Wind Grid-Connected Home solution.
Photovoltaic and wind resources often compliment each other. At night and when the sun is low, especially in winter and spring time, the wind can be at its best. We offer a wide range of Ampair and LVM micro wind generators, as well as Proven Energy grid connect & standalone wind turbine packages.
Proven 2.5
The Proven 2.5 produces 2.5kW of electricity. This can meet the power needs of a standard three-bedroom home. Any excess energy production can be stored or exported to the grid, depending on whether it is used as part of a grid connect or standalone power system. The turbine is approximately the same size as a standard telegraph pole. The robust Proven 2.5 can be used to power small lighting systems in commercial premises. The Proven 2.5EX is widely used on off-shore oil platforms, as it is the only turbine in the world that is totally explosion-proof. Generating electricity from a wind turbine helps to drastically cut down CO2 emissions and can be used in conjunction with a solar power system to form part of a complete hybrid renewable power system. Hub height: 6.5m / 11m

Proven 6
The Proven 6 produces 6kW of electricity. It is able to meet the power needs of a standard house with four to six bedrooms. Any excess energy production can be stored or exported to the grid, depending on whether it is used as a grid connect or standalone power system.
The Proven 6 is suited to a broad range of applications. It has been installed in schools, local authority buildings, agricultural small holdings, business and retail premises.

Rebates are available for PV, Wind and Solar Hotwater Systems
Solar Hot Water Rebates
The Australian Government offers a rebate of $1000 for the installation of a solar hot water system or $600 for installing a heat pump hot water system. The Victorian Government also has hot water rebates available for eligible customers. These rebates are in addition to REC's which also reduce the overall cost of the unit.
To check your eligibility visit: www.environment.gov.au/energyefficiency or contact your local Global Energy Solutions store.
Global Energy Solutions can also help you complete the paperwork.
REC's - Renewable Energy Certificates
You could be eligible to receive Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) if you install one of the following small-scale energy systems at home:
- a solar power (photovoltaic - PV) system
- a wind power (turbine) system
- a hydro (water) power system
- a solar hot water system
- a heat pump hot water system.
RECs are an electronic form of currency. You get 1 REC for each 1 mega watt hour (MWh) of electricity that can be generated or fossil-fuelled electricity displaced by a small-scale energy system you install.
To check your eligibility visit: www.livinggreener.gov.au or contact your local Global Energy Solutions store
Solar Credits
Solar Credits are part of the Renewable Energy Target (RET) scheme Solar Credits enables households and businesses that install small-scale solar PV systems, to multiply the number of tradeable REC's created by eligible installations.

The Victorian Government Regional rebate of between $400 and $1600 is available to assist regional Victorian households to replace their existing gas, solid fuel or oil hot water heater to a new solar system. For existing electric hot water heaters, a Victorian rebate is only available to applicants replacing an electric water heater where they have installed ceiling insulation under the Australian Government's discontinued Home Insulation Program and are thus unable to access the Australian Government Solar Hot Water Rebate. For further information on rebate eligibility requirements see below.
The Victorian Government rebate is provided as a point-of-sale discount off the supply and installation costs to householders and is only available through participating suppliers, including manufacturers, retailers and plumbers. Participating suppliers are responsible for both the supply and installation of the solar hot water system.
Global Energy Solutions can also help you complete the paperwork and offer point of sale discounts on Veec's Rec's and Sustainability Victoria rebates*
